What Does Stocks Mean

when buying an instrument what does Factory B-Stock mean?
I’m thinking about getting a bass and if i get the Factory B-Stock it will save me 70 bucks and I’m just wondering but does that mean they use like random parts that are just laying around or what?
does it mean refurbished?
As others have said, it’s a blem item OR one that has been previously sold and returned for whatever reason. Often, B items are brand new and in perfect condition. People return stuff because they dont like the color or whatever. You can get a good deal on this stuff, and if there is nothing structurally wrong, everything works and it sounds good, there’s no reason not to get it. Worst case scenario is you get something that’s a little more unique. I bought a “B” stock Martin D-28 about forty years ago. Never had a complaint about it.
