Does anyone find Warren Buffett’s investment into Goldman Sachs interesting?
In a failing financial market the ” greatest investor of our times” purchases a major stake in a company that the “half” the treasury dept. worked for all the while the treasury secretary is begging for a Wall St. bailout giving him carte blanche. Sounds very fishy.
Means nothing. Buffett invested in it only because he had the ability to leverage a very advantageous deal for himself that guaranteed that he would come out ahead no matter what happened to the stock.
Nothing fishy about that unless you are one of those democrats that thinks the government flew two planes into the world trade center.
