top income stocks 2009
Why is most the nation’s wealth and job gains suddenly centered around the nation’s capital?

The wealthiest state in the country: Maryland http://articles.baltimoresun.com/2009-09-23/news/0909220047_1_median-household-maryland-richest-state

Virginia is sixth; if DC were a state it would be number 1. Media income for DC is 3x Maryland’s.

6 of the 10 wealthiest counties in the US are in the DC area (7 if you include a county outside Balitmore, a mere 25 miles from DC)

Latest job reports show that Maryland and Virginia posted the largest job gains in the US. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5iG41E9cl-hj1iLR6_ln6q-z8FY4QD9F47OLG0

Anyone find this odd?????

It is not odd when you consider who our President is. Our govt is getting larger and pays it employees better than the private sector because all they have to do is deicide to raise taxes in order to raise the pay. If you ask someone from Africa where the best jobs are in their particular country, they will the govt. We are going down the same path as these third world countries. It was Michelle who said Kenya was Obama’s homeland…
