38 000 feet, here are three ways to search your inventory

It is a story worth reading. It could save time and money. It is an innovative site that was put up the last weeks of 2007. It was designed to born of necessity, objective, third party market research. Ian Campbell, the individual investor who created it was sick and tired of financial investigation as slow and painful.

Campbell liked to manage your own stock portfolio. But this was a pain. It was a pain alieviated, a challenge that requires a solution. It was too laborious for analysis, pour over piles of cards, websites, trying to give sense at all entrances of many different companies. Moreover, in many cases, the information you wanted and needed was not there. He reasoned that there must be thousands of investment advisers and other investors – like himself – his desire for a solution to this problem the test. In the past 12 months has been on the market a website focusing in small cap stocks in the mining and oil and gas in Canada. Examine and investigate this man's powers, we find that more than 35 years, Campbell was considered one of Canada's leading experts in providing independent advice on business valuation.

In fact, it is famous by writing books about Canada's final. In fact, Campbell was honored recently by the Institute for Canadian expertise in business valuation. Called for a scholarship annual survey in its honor.

Campbell asked why he designed this site in particular. He said his own frustration with data overload Internet, along with the countless hours it took to manage your own portfolio, made him realize that he had to be faster and better way to do it.

As a seller myself a long time, I am particularly pleased to see that Campbell did not fall into the trap of building a service based exclusively on its needs. Campbell knew I could show others how to save time and money with this new form of search as if it was a container company. In order to test the concept in depth, which was to do market research. Campbell was a principal investigator labor market with him to develop and distribute a detailed questionnaire aimed at thousands of people in the U.S. and Canada. Each had at least $ 100K in the market and was interested in management or have a personal investment advisor to manage your portfolio.

The real "services" in the site design are the direct result of this investigation. But for me, the problem is on the way The site offers access to a Member interesting, but very effective look at their actions. Try to get in this picture and imagine what it's like looking down on a particular investment from three different altitudes.

First, is the view of the macro-economic planning as if the way to 38,000 feet, looking at the big picture. Then there is the picture Industry specific courses (considered in the context of macroeconomic picture above). Finally companies are listed in specific industries presented on the site. This consists of research conducted with or about this company in particular.

From my point of view of marketing This site discusses issues important, one must ask: (1) where is this society? (2) If what they say they want to be? Where? Thirdly, how can they get? What they plan to get there? Being able to look down from a 38 000 foot forces the researcher's point of view to be aware of actions and take into account all other inputs that affect the competitive environment in which the company competes.

From an intermediate level, the researcher is assisted taking into account all the relevant entries industry-specific, allowing them to decide for themselves whether this particular company has the ability and resources to move up … or not. Researhing investor or his counsel, is free to make their own decisions whether to buy, sell … or not … or not.
