Where could I find out real-time P/E ratio as to global stock market?
Could you please tell me where I could find out real-time P/E ratio as to global stock market? For example, Brazil is 14.2, U.K. is 14.7 , Russia is 11.2 , South Africa is 9.55, and so on. Could you provide me some related internet address about P/E ratio of global stock market? Thank you very much !
I don’t know where you would find real time P/E ratios. But you could compute it yourself if an approximation will meet your need.
Divide the current price by the ratio to get earnings. Then as the price fluctuates you can do the math for P/E. Since the earnings part of the equation will be more stable that should give you a reasonable approximation. Recompute earnings every every few days. Once you set the formulas up in your computer it shouldn’t be difficult. You only have to type in the new index price.
