Customs requirements – exporting from US? Small business with stock from various suppliers?
I’m a small business looking to export goods from the US to Australia. These are supplies for my store from many different companies.
I’m having trouble finding info on what the US customs requirements are – all the sites I’ve found only deal with manufacturers who are exporting, not small businesses with goods from different manufacturers. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find out if each of my suppliers need to fill in forms or can I do it? Do I need to register as an exporter?

I would call your local freight forwarder and ask them about your exporting needs…They will point you in the right direction.
