Sector Stocks
When a stock in a sector is being bought at a premium, does that bring down others in that sector?
Figuring the traders flock to buy the stock that is being purchased to make a profit on that, and they sell what they are in in that sector to make something on that one rising star?
Lets say an ag stock is being bought by another ag stock, will many ag stock day traders sell what they have in other ags to make a quick buck in the day’s rising star? Easy instant capital, right?
sometimes that is true, buts its too generic to assume that. Alot of times, people are just flocking to a sector, i.e. energy, and all stocks in the sector see more positive flows. tba
