How to be well educated about investment?
I would like to invest but I want to be well educated about all types of Investments. Does anyone has suggestion. I am not a business major and I’ve never taken finance nor investment courses. Also what is the safest type of investment with high returns.

Go to Yahoo,Finance and start with the investing center. You can get a basic overview of the various Types Of Investments.
Then checkout http://www.investopedia.com/
They have tutorials and articles that will give you a well rounded understanding of investing. They also have a simulator so you can practice while learning.
Check out your public library. You can get a variety of books (at no cost) and skim them to expand your knowledge. After you find a style that fits you, you do more in depth study on it.
High returns means higher risk. So wait until you get some experience before trying for the high returns. Start by being conservative and going for reasonable returns. That way you will better protect your capital.
