Where can I buy one share of stock and get a certificate for gift giving without paying huge transfer fees?
Oneshare.com wants a $39 transfer fee. I don’t need a frame just the certificate.
The $39 transfer fee is pretty reasonable, including the frame! Most brokerage firms charge between $25 and $50 to issue a stock certificate. And of course you have to first pay a commission on the purchase of $7 to $20.
