Making Stocks
Is there a rule or relationship in stock? Pounds of meat to the amount of fluid to add?
For example: 3 pounds chicken 6 cups of water? I want to know if there is a general rule in this … thanks! If anyone can answer, I'll give you the best answer for sure! I always eyeball and taste as I go, I've never used a guidleline and works well, but again, it might be a time saver if there is a good value here lol
My rule is enough water to meet lol.I know that meat is not an exact percentage, but is very simple just put the chicken in his first pot and fill the water to the birds.
