What is the best way to become an investment banker?
I am currently a freshman in high school. I received an average of 4.0 during my first semester of high school. I fought for the JV team, and although this year was my first year, I hope to become the captain of my last year. I also play baseball for the school team. Last year I participated in a 10-week contest with cash inventory false and was fourth at 110 people / teams. During the competition I was very interested in stocks and businesses. I know what I do to be an investment banker (who includes activities, work, volunteer work I do, what are the best colleges to go, and if I go to school MBA). Thank you for taking the computer to read and respond to this question.
You must enter the undergraduate program of business best. This includes schools like Wharton (UPenn), McIntire (UVA), Mendoza (U Notre Dame), Cornell, Goizueta (Emory), Ross (U of Michigan Ann Arbor), Stern (NYU), Haas (UC Berkeley), Kenan-Flagler (UNC Chapel Hill). The most important finding a job is a summer internship after his year studying at an i-bank – preferably one of the most prestigious – JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs … If it does, it is very likely that (hopefully) hires right out of college. If you do not get one of these programs is very, very difficult (Perhaps impossible) to get a job in one of the most important. In general, we will send to the business school after working for 2-3 years.
